How do I apply to be a resident of Westminster Towers?

Schedule a tour of our community. You will complete a financial application and give a 25% deposit. After you make your selections for your paint and flooring we will begin the renovation. We ask that you take occupancy 60 days from giving your deposit.

Does WT require an entry fee?

Westminster Towers offers several refundable residency fee and non-entry fee options. Entry fees give the resident priority to higher levels of care (some at a reduced rate) should they need it.

What are the differences in the levels of care?

Independent Living allows independence with support services such as housekeeping, one chef prepared meal a day, transportation, etc. (see amenities)

Assisted Living includes three meals a day, assistance with bathing and dressing and medication management.

Short -Term Rehab is Medicare Certified in patient therapy.

Long-term care is skilled care.

Do I pay real estate taxes or insurance?

You do not pay real estate taxes. We recommend renter’s insurance.

Are there tax benefits to moving into Westminster Towers?

Yes, you are entitled to a one-time deduction of a portion of your residency fee and a yearly deduction based on monthly fees. We recommend discussing this with your tax advisor.

Do you allow pets?

Yes, we are pet friendly. Pets are allowed in the independent living apartment homes.

Do you have storage on site?

Yes, each apartment comes with a 8′ x 3′ x 3′ storage locker in the lower level.

Why should I choose Westminster Towers?

Westminster Towers opened in 1989 as a not-for-profit Retirement Community, locally owned and nationally accredited with a great location in Rock Hill. Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Short-Term Rehab are all under one roof.
